AerMacchi MC 205 "Veltro Vs MC 202 Italeri kit 1/32 scale model

I examined Italeri's 1/32 scale MC Veltro kit and compared it to the MC 202 'Folgore' and more and these are my first observations:
MC 202 "Folgore" vs MC 205 "Veltro"

By then closely checking some important components such as the nose cone by comparing it with that of Italian Old Wings, the following differences can be observed, also measured with a precision caliper:
from left: Italeri kit and to follow, Italian Old Wings resin set
from leftt: Italian Old Wings resin set followed by Italeri Kit
other differences with the Italian Old Wings set:
Test to fit: OK

Certainly these are all differences which do not imply any important relevance for a product which in any case presents itself as unique on the market and with a model from an interesting and historically important point of view and therefore deserving of all the attention and respect it deserves and therefore congratulations again to Italeri.

Unless a model maker deems having the entire series of new models produced by Italeri (I believe the 'Saetta' MC 200 will also be released soon), I don't think it is interesting to have in practice a 'duplicate' of the MC 202 except for the essential and necessary modifications required to identify it as MC 205.
I certainly don't want to dampen the enthusiasm of many modelers who were counting on the release of this new product to fill the gap in the collection but it is also normal to proceed with the article with a modicum of critical sense and objectivity. The following photos tell and illustrate the mere use of the mold used for 202 and applied slavishly to 205 without changing a rivet apart from, as previously mentioned, the addition of the necessary modifications aimed at identifying the 'Veltro' subject and therefore the lower part of the engine bonnet, the two lateral filters, the different air intakes, the presence of the rear retractable landing gear and related doors, the two wing cannons, the different fairings of the underwing landing gear protections and, logically, the nose cone with an unmistakable shape. For the rest, cell, wing surfaces, upper canopy, canopy and wheels, identical to the MC 202 (also in price).
In order not to get confused during the illustration, I myself had to mark the name of the model inside each fuselage with a black marking:By then closely checking some important components such as the nose cone by comparing it with that of Italian Old Wings, the following differences can be observed, also measured with a precision caliper:

Passiamo infine al motore DB 605 (previsto per il Macchi 205) in luogo del DB 601 con cui era equipaggiato il "Folgore": qui ci si imbatte in un problema di non poco conto. Entrambe le repliche dei propulsori sembrerebbero di fatto simili acchè sorge un dubbio: o era errato il motore del 202 oppure è errato quello del 205 perchè un dato storico e di fatto ci dicono che i propulsori erano ben differenti.
Apart from this consideration which in the end can still be overcome, the measures also do not add up. Let me explain better, measured with the gauge the engine of the Macchi MC 205 by Italeri with the DB 605 by Zoukei Mura for the Me 109 G-14 both in 1/32 scale these are the results:
